Born in Alençon, France in 1641. Son of Pierre Allix, pastor of the reformed church in France. Married Marguerite Roger of Rouen, 1678. Came to England in 1685 as a Huguenot refugee. Rector of French conforming church in Jewin Street, Aldersgate, London, 1686-1690. DD (Comitia Regia) from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, 1690. Treasurer of Salisbury Cathedral, 1690-1717. Residentiary canon of Salisbury Cathedral, 1695-1717. Resident in London. Father of John Peter (Jean Pierre, 1679-1758), James (Jacques, d. 1703x6), William (d. 1769) Gilbert (d. 1767), Margaret and Marie (Mary). Died on 21 February 1717 in London.
