Other note

Obadiah Wills, son of Richard Wills, was born in Sherbourne, Dorset around 1625. He matriculated at Exeter College, Oxford in July 1642; he proceeded M.A. in May 1649 by favour of Thomas Fairfax and Oliver Cromwell. He was made fellow of New College, Oxford in 1649 by parliamentary visitors. Wills served as rector of Alton Barnes, Wiltshire, but was ejected for nonconformity in 1662. He was licensed as a Congregationalist preacher at Devizes in 1672. His date of death is unknown.
