Other note

Malden matriculated from Pembroke College, Oxford, in October 1638 at age 16. He was curate at Newport, Shropsire, from 1656 until his ejection for nonconformity in 1662. Following his ejection, he preached at Whitchurch, Shropshire, after 1672. He also licensed his house in Nantwich, Cheshire, as a meeting-place and took in pupils. Malden died on 23 May 1681, apparently at age 60 (although this age conflicts slightly with his reported age when he entered Pembroke College).
