Born c. 1619. B.A. (1640/1) from Trinity College, Cambridge. M.A. (1644) from St Catharine's College, Cambridge. Curate of Pidley, Huntingdonshire in 1645. Vicar of Rotherham, Yorkshire from 1646 until ejected in 1662. Thereafter he continued to preach at Greasbrough Chapel in Rotherham. He was licensed to preach as a Presbyterian in 1672. At some point he was imprisoned.
