Other note

Son of Ralph Marsden and brother of Jeremiah. Educated Trinity College, Dublin (1652-1660). Ejected from fellowship in 1660. Became minister at Chappel-le-Breare, but ejected August 1662. Went to Netherlands. On return, kept a school at Haigh Hall. In 1673 became teacher and pastor at Topcliffe (ordained 1674).
