fl. ca. 1626-1638. "Dr. Potter" is mentioned as the preacher of a sermon in BL Add MS 14900. There are at least three preachers named Potter who were DD and were active in this period: Hannibal Potter (1592–1664), Barnaby Potter (1577-1642), and Christopher Potter (1590/91–1646).
