Other note
Proceeded MA from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1621 and through connections with William Laud and Richard Neile obtained various preferments. However, during the Civil War, he lost all of these preferments. He then sought employement on the continent, becoming chaplain to the Levant Company in Leghorn, Italy in 1650. He died returning to England shortly after the Restoration.
