Other note

Studied at St. John's College, Cambridge where he proceeded MA in 1626. Afterwards he became the chaplain to Robert Rich, Earl of Warwick in 1638 and proceeded DD in 1641. He published many works which demonstrate that he was a moderate episcopalian. He became bishop of Exeter in 1660 and bishop of Worcester in August 1662, but died the following month.
