fl. c. 1660-1669. Preached a sermon which is partly recorded in MS. Rawl. D. 1421 (ff. 49r-53v). Uncertain which Dr Cotton this is, but it could be Edward Cotton (c. 1616-1675; AO [Foster]) or Samuel Cotton (b. c.1603), both of whom were D.D. and flourished in the appropriate time period.
