Born sometimes in November 1599. B.A. (1618), M.A. (1624) from Merton College, Oxford. Made rector of Braunston in 1631. Became minister of St Lawrence Jewry, London in 1657. Presbyterian, but was made Bishop of Norwich by King Charles II in 1660.
