Other note

Hammond matriculated from King's College, Cambridge in 1638 and received his MA in 1645. He was ordained at Lincoln in 1642. In 1652 he became preacher and Thursday Lecturer at St. Nicholas, Newcastle, from which post he was ejected in 1662. He removed to the Continent but returned to England in 1665 and preached occasionally at his home in Hackney Middlesex.
