Other note

Holland graduated from Brasenose College (BA 1630-31; MA 1633). He was appointed rector at Malpas in 1662 and later vicar at Great Wakering, Essex (1665). He is noted in Philip Henry's diaries as preaching on numerous occasions, including the baptism of Henry's son, Matthew Henry.
