Fl. 1696-1707. Humfryes is mentioned by Joseph Keble as the preacher of one sermon each in MS. Rawl. E. 210 and 211. There are many preachers named Humfreys (and other spellings of this name) in ODNB, AO (Foster), ACAD (Venn), and CCEd, and there is no indication in the manuscript of which Humfryes this might be, or even whether it is the same preacher in both manuscripts.
