Precise date of birth unknown, but Broderick was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge in 1687 at age 17. B.A. (1690/1) and M.A. (1694) from Trinity College, and fellow there in 1693. Granted D.D. in 1710. Vicar of Sandon, Hertfordshire, 1697-1711 and of Meopham, Kent, 1713-1742. Prebendary of Westminster in 1710. Rector Dauntsey, Wiltshire, 1712-1714, of Mixbury, Oxfordshire, 1713-1743, of Turweston, Buckinghamshire, 1714-1741, and of Islip, Oxfordshire from 1741 until his death. Died in Kensington, London and buried on 6 November 1747.
