James G. Miall, Congregationalism in Yorkshire: A Chapter of Modern Church History (London, 1868), pp. 26, 250

Other note

No first name is given in the manuscript (BL Add MS 45671). Miall mentions him as an "energetic preacher" (26) and claims he went to New England with Dr. Samuel Winter before coming to Bradford (however, the ODNB entry for Winter states that he went to Ireland rather than New England, and does not mention Colyer). There are many preachers named Collier in GEMMS biographical sources, most of whom have very little connection to Yorkshire. ODNB (Article: 5922) lists a Baptist preacher named Thomas Collier who was active in York in the 1640s, but he had moved to the West Country by the 1650s.
