Physician and Presbyterian minister. Educated at the academy of John Woodhouse (Sherrifhales, Shropshire). Ordained in 1688. Minister at Durham beginning in 1689. Briefly accepted role of minister at Pontefract, Yorkshire in 1693 before moving on to Mill Hill, Leeds in 1694. Briefly served as assistant to Richard Gilpin, minister at Newcastle, in 1699 before he died later that year.
