Date of birth unknown, but ACAD (Venn) estimates 1675. The second son of William Power of Yorkshire (ACAD Venn: PWR557W). He matriculated from Christ's College, Cambridge c. 1593. He went on to gain his BA in 1598, MA in 1601 and BD in 1611. He was fellow of the college from 1599 to c. 1645, and Lady Margaret preacher from 1613 to 1646 as well as head of the Anglican party in the college. He was incorporated at Oxford University in 1602. He was minister of Fen Drayton, Cambridgeshire. He died c. 1646.
