Ferdinando Davies presented a manuscript (The Henry E. Huntington Library, Hastings Collection, Literature Box 1, Folder 6) to Elizabeth Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon (1654-1688) in 1676. The Perdita database conjectures that he was probably a relative of Lucy Hastings (née Davies), Countess of Huntingdon (1613-1679).
