Dissenting minister at Morley, Batley in the West Riding of Yorkshire, ca. 1672. Nephew of Joshua Bailey of Allerton. Attended Gamaliel Marsden's school at Haigh Hall. Co-teacher with Marsden at Woodchurch, the congregational church at Topcliffe in 1673 and ordained there 25 March 1674. Died at age 27, which suggests he was born about 1648.
