The exact birth date of Charles Almond is unknown. He matriculated at Magdalen College, Oxford on 22 January 1648/9. He was a chorister from 1648 until 1652. Almond graduated B.A. on 25 February 1650/1. He became rector of Thornton, Buckinghamshire in 1660, and vicar of Kingsey, Buckinghamshire five years later. He preached at Thornton until his death on 29 April 1709. He was buried on 1 May 1709. His wife, Elizabeth, died on 13 April 1713 and was buried two days later.
