Other note
May be the dedicatee of sermons in the George Curwen Papers. Henry Gibbs's father was Robert Gibbs, a Boston merchant whose family was from Dorset, England. Gibbs graduated from Harvard in 1685 and married Mercy Greenough in June 1692. On 14th October 1690, the town of Waterford voted to request him as their assistant minister. He remained in the post, becoming minister there, until his death. He published several treatise and sermons.
