John Richardson graduated from Harvard in 1666 and became a tutor and resident fellow at the College. He was ordained as minister of the First Church of Newbury, MA where he would remain until his death. He married Mary Pierson of Woburn in October 1673 and they had five children; Mary (b. 22 Jul 1677); John (b. 5 Jul 1676); Sarah (b. 19 Sep 1674); Catharine (b. 15 Sep 1681); Elizabeth (28 Apr 1680) . He died in 1696.
