Studied at Jesus College, Cambridge, and later Pembroke Hall, Cambridge. Curate of St Sidwells, Exeter from 1658 until ejected in 1662. Licensed to preach as an Independent at Exeter in 1672. In the early 1690s, he preached throughout Devon until he died ca. 1691.
