Matriculated from Brasenose College, Oxford in 1655, receiving a B.A. in 1658/9 and an M.A. in 1661. Curate of Grendon Underwood, Buckinghamshire in 1662, and rector there from 1663 (succeeding the ejected Samuel Clarke) until his death in 1714. According to CCEd, he was also preaching throughout the diocese of Lincoln in 1663.
