Matriculated from Queens' College, Cambridge 1544, received B.A. (1549/50), M.A. (1553), B.D. (1560), and D.D. (1564). Fellow of Queens' from 1550-60. Made Master of St Catharine's College in 1559 and Vice-Chancellor from 1569-70. Ordained as deacon and priest at Norwich in 1557. Rector of
