Other note

fl. 1695. Preacher of sermons in Derby identified in D3287/24/21. Identified as Robert Moore in D3287/25/6. Given the shared dates and career location, it seems likely that the two manuscripts refer to the same person. Robert Moore was curate of Brampton, Derbyshire in 1658 until his ejection in 1662. He was licensed as a Presbyterian in 1672. He was a "competent supply" preacher in 1690, but appears to have become pastor of Friar Gate, Derby shortly thereafter. He remained there until his death in June 1704.
