Other note
The exact date of birth of Edward Green is unknown. He matriculated pensioner from Peterhouse, Cambridge in Easter 1620, graduating B.A. in 1622/3 and proceeding M.A. in 1626. He was ordained deacon at Peterborough on 19 December 1624, and priest on 18 December 1625. From 1628 until 1650, he was rector of Shelley, Essex. Note that the entry for ACAD (Venn) (ID: GRN621E) also suggests that another Edward Greene (matric. sizar from Christ's College, Cambridge, July 1621; B.A. 1624/5 and M.A. 1628) may have been the rector of Shelley, Essex from 1628 until 1650.
