Contents include the following: ‘Whither his Ma[jes]tie may give his Royall Assent to any Act of Parliam[en]t that tends eyther to the Ruine or diminuc[i]on of the present Clergy, Salvo Juramento’ (ff. 1r-6r); ‘Articuli Lambethani Exhibiti per D: Whitakerum’ by Lancelot Andrewes (ff. 7r-10r); ‘The danger yt the Kingdom now stands in and the remedie, by Sr Robert Cotton’ (ff. 11r-13r). There is also an undated sermon preached in Northamptonshire by John Dolben (ff. 53-90), of which the first seven leaves are wanting. Finally, there is also a complete play, written in blank verse, on the subject of Tancred and Ghismonda (ff. 139r-186r). Languages: English; Latin.
