A collection of tracts in French, Latin, and English, including, inter alia, the following items: 'Traité de Ratisbone' (1630) (ff. 45r-48v); 'Certain doubts about some points of doctrine' (ff. 49r-64r); 'A short account of o[ur] English B[isho]ps' (1670) (ff. 65r-125v); and a sermon in Latin by Thomas Gataker (1603) (ff. 126r-130v).

Acquisition

The Harleian Library was founded by Robert Harley, First Earl of Oxford (1661-1724). According to Cyril Ernest Wright, Robert Harley 'was primarily interested in English historical and political material and in volumes of sermons and theological controversy, sharing in the latter the taste of his Harley ancestors'.
