Sloane MS 1487 - Miscellaneous Collection

Collection of miscellaneous material in what appears to be a commonplace book, associated with John H. Holbrooke and/or William Coupland whose names are inserted on a fragmentary leaf (f. 55r). The bulk of the manuscript it comprised of " including one sermon on ff.130-116 (reverse). The bulk of “Spare minuts/ Or. / RESOLVED / MEDITATIONS. / AND / PREMEDITATED / RESOLUTIONS / BOTH MORALL / AND DIVINE,/ 1675” (ff. 10r-54v), but contains one sermon on ff. 130r-116r, written in reverse.
