Folio, 445 leaves. In a single semi-calligraphic hand, except for ff.224r-295r in two other professional hands. Principal scribe associated with Henry Feilde, c.1660s. In 19th-century half-morocco gilt.

Acquisition

The Lansdowne collection belonged to William Petty, 1st Marquess of Lansdowne (1737-1805). It was purchased in 1807 for the British Museum.
