According to the BL online catalogue, this manuscript is one of six commonplace books compiled by Charles Caesar between 1704 and 1706. These manuscripts were in the possession of his descendant, Mrs. Elizabeth Aberdein of Hammersmith, in 1810.
The manuscript was presented to the British Library by Stonewall Jackson, Esq., through the Friends of the National Libraries, in 1933.
