This volume contains a collection of an unidentified auditor's notes on sermons. Each sermon is followed by a line or two of shorthand. The volume begins with an incomplete sermon (ff. 1-5). The last set of notes (ff. 124v-133v) proceeds backward from the end of the volume.
All sermon notes written in the same hand, which is small but legible. The manuscript gives only the surnames of the preachers. In most cases, the cataloguer has identified the preacher.
Owned by John Horner in 1647 and by James Stone in 1666.
Part of the Heywood Papers.
