Six sermons preached between 1 May 1676 and 30 June 1676/7. Manuscript begins with a list of the sermons contained titled "Texts in this book. Anno 1676" (f.1).

Material Features

113 folios. Leather binding, blind tooled. 185 x 120 mm. Paper leaves, red ruling on upper and gutter margins. Written in a single hand.

Provenance

At f.1r is the is the ownership inscription "Christopher Ludlow, Bristol." The signature of Christopher Ludlow is also found at f.2r and f.113v. It is unclear whether Ludlow was the original owner or a later owner of the manuscript. The front pastedown has an erased signature with the date 1803.

Acquisition

Transferred from Sion College to Lambeth Palace Library in 1996.
