Among other letters and papers, contains notes for 38 sermons preached between 1565 and 1566 at St Paul's Cross, London and in other locations. Names of preachers and sometimes of occasions are indicated. Books and chapters are usually noted, but not verses of texts.

Material Features

This volume has been conserved and torn pages repaired. Fair folio copies of sermon notes in the same late 16th century Secretary hand. Heavily restored volume. 206 folios.

Acquisition

Acquired by the Bodleian as part of Thomas Tanner's collection of manuscripts, bequeathed to the library in his will and received approximately three months after his death in 1735.
