Contents Note

The manuscript contains thirty-three sermons, all written in the same hand. Not all of the sermons are dated, but of those that are, the original preaching dates range from September 1684 to June 1685. The final sermon was preached again in 1688. A number were preached at Lewisham, and the Bodleian catalogue notes that the rector there from 1677 to 1688 was Alexander Davidson. Some of the sermons are numbered, possibly chronologically by preaching date.
