Contents Note

Ten sermons preached between 1700 and 1730, mostly in Bloxhome, Sleaford, Metheringham, and Timberland, all in Lincolnshire.

Material Features

Paper, duodecimo, 82 leaves. Preaching information is written in abbreviations using Greek letters, many of which are difficult to decipher. These include Beta-lambda-omicron-xi (or just Beta-lambda) for Bloxholm, Tau-iota-mu-beta for Timberland, etc.

Source of Data

Jeanne Shami; Adam Richter; Bodleian Library Rawlinson Catalogue

Other Note

Because the Greek abbreviations are so difficult to decipher, some of the preaching locations in particular are guesses. In some cases it also unclear which preaching information goes with which sermon.
