This volume also includes: notes on whether it is lawful for a man to marry his wife's own sister; an invective against Cardinal Richelieu, f. 286r; notes on why Bacchus is painted with horns (drunkenness); some doctrinal material on election, etc; and notes on differences between justification and sanctification, etc. Some of what appears to be Bray Lane's own poetry is also interspersed with the sermon notes.
