Contents Note

Along with MS. Don. e. 163, this is one of two notebooks containing sermons by Hugh Morris. They were mostly preached at Bangor, Wales. There are some fragments that do not seem to be connected to any of the sermons (ff. 74v-75r, 164r-173v). Also includes doctrines related to the Lord's Supper (ff. 156r-179r) and a list of proof texts (ff. 159v-160r).

Material Features

174 leaves. Bound in ruled calf. Morris uses a shorthand system and appears to explain it with charts indicating words, sentences, and Bible books each represented by one character.
