Contents Note

This volume contains Warner's sermon notes mostly on the Books of Matthew and Luke. It belongs to a large set of Warner's other manuscripts containing sermon notes and other papers (MSS. Eng. th. b. 4-8, e. 62, e. 176-7; Eng. hist. b. 205; Eng. misc. b. 193-5; Top. gen. c. 75). The sermon notes in this volume are arranged by text and dated between 1605 and 1655. All of these notes appear to be the preacher’s notes on texts, with divisions and points. Most are written in the same hand (presumably Warner's), but some are written different hands.
