Include family tree of Lettice Marriot going back to 1253, copies of her papers relating to historical events, 1677-1710, and devotional material.

Material Features

Small folio bound in old black morocco. Curious engrave front of Arms surmounted by Death’s Head, and supported by weeping cherubs on pedestal inscribed “To the memory of Mrs. Lettice Marriott, wife of Mr. Samuel Marriott, and daughter of Mr. Timothy Fox, formerly Rector of Drayton-Bassett,” Etc. Dated 1711 in the newspaper notice.

Book owner Elias Sullen has written “Whoever borrows this Book is particularly requested not to write in it, or double down the leaves.”
