Contents Note

The volume contains eight sermons by Matthew Henry, part of an exposition on John 17, and, loose, within a double-fold paper wrapper, a sermon by Philip Henry, with the endorsement "a Sermon of the great & good Philip Henry one of the ejected Worthies in Charles the 2nds Reign." The volume is unpaginated and unfoliated. Two of the pieces (excluding the Matthew Henry sermons) are written in Philip Henry's hand. The Matthew Henry sermons are written in the same small, cramped hand.

Material Features

Binding is cloth, with on the spine in gold lettering HENRY MSS.
