This is one of 4 volumes (Mss I.h.43-46) of Matthew Henry sermons in his own handwriting. Most of the sermons were preached in 1706-1707, with the exception of the first sermon, which dates to 1688.

Material Features

Small notebook in vellum binding. The sermons are written on the small paper pamphlets that Henry seems to have used frequently. On verso of front flyleaf the signature "J. B. Witham 1828" and "This and the 3 accompanying vols. are sermons by the Rev. Matthew Henry, author of the Exposition, and in his own handwriting J. B. W."
