Contents Note

Fair copies of notes apparently taken by Mary Sheafe at the sermons of her father, Thomas Doolittle. Doolittle married his first wife, Mary Gill, in 1655 (ODNB, Article: 7826). The writer of this manuscript was their eldest daughter.

Material Features

Small leather-bound notebook. The pages have been neatly ruled in red and the sermons are neatly printed rather than written in cursive. The volume is unpaginated and unfoliated.
