Sermons transcribed by Henry James Stedman in the 19th century. Unlike the previous volumes in this series, this one has no table of contents, and contains later sermons (preached 1706-1707).
This is a vellum-bound volume, slightly different in size and binding from MS II.e.16-19. On spine "Sermons by Matthew Henry MS" and "The Divine Law." In pencil on the inside flyleaf is "Thoss.? Polehampton. Feb 21st 1849." The ODNB entry for Henry Stedman Polehampton identifies him as the grandson of Thomas Stedman, vicar of St. Chad's Shrewsbury, suggesting that the two families were related and the volume probably remained within the family.
