This is a volume written by and for Sir John Hartopp, being the substance of sermons heard by him as preached by [Benjamin?] Cos, [Hanserd] Knollys, [Thomas] Watson, [Daniel] Bull, [Edmund] Calamy, and [William] Jenkyn.

Material Features

Vellum with blind tooling; slight remains of clasps. Wilson presentation stamp. On the page preceding the sermons proper John Hartopp has signed and dated the volume (1660). His signature appears two more times on the page, as does "Elizabeth Hartopp" three times in the same hand.
