Contents Note

Most of these entries don’t seem to be fully accurate reproductions of sermons preached. There are lots of notes to the reader directing them to see other passages in this volume, etc.

Material Features

Paper, folio, 272 leaves. The whole manuscript is written out in a clear hand with marginal citations of Scripture and other authorities and a few additions and deletions. The text can be difficult to decipher (mostly just at the beginning of the volume) because the paper is thin and the ink is showing through from the reverse of the paper.

Source of Data

Lucy Busfield; Henry O. Coxe, Catalogus codicum mss. qui in collegiis aulisque oxoniensibus hodie adservantur, vol. 1 (Oxford, 1852)

Other Note

The composition date reflects dated material in the manuscript.
