The volume comprises an incomplete notebook of Samuel Jones (1628-97), nonconformist minister and teacher, of Brynllywarch, Glamorgan, containing brief notes of sermons; a catalogue of his books; accounts, including receipts and disbursements, 1664-5 and undated, at various locations; and extracts from a philosophical work (e.g. 'De accidente', 'De proprietatibus praedicabiliorum', etc.).

Material Features

The volume is written in one hand, presumably that of Samuel Jones. It is very small and some of the materials are written in reverse. The hand is clear and consistent throughout, and the paper is in good condition. The binding is modern.
