MS 71A
Creation Date
ca. 1650 - 1725
Contents Note

The volume contains sermons, lists, memoranda, miscellaneous extracts, papers relating to the family of Charles Vaughan, and sermons. These sermons are undated, but are generally from the 17th and early 18th centuries. It is possible that some of them are from earlier in the 17th century, but there is no way to know their dates with certainty.

Material Features

The calf binding is worn and tattered, but the boards are still attached. Many pages are blank and materials are written from both ends of the volume (i.e. some in reverse). Several names appear on fly-leaves and throughout the volume, including Seth Chapman.
