This is a volume containing seven sermons preached on the sixth chapter of Isaiah by Thomas Bradbury. At the beginning of the volume is a dedicatory epistle to Richard Bancroft, Archbishop of Canterbury.
The quarto volume is bound with full parchment and is still in very good condition. The pages are double-ruled on three sides with good margins used for scriptural references and headings. There are no margins at the bottoms. It is uncertain whether these sermons are in Bradbury's autograph. They appear to be scribal fair copies in a neat, large secretary hand.
Purchased from Major Hopton Addams-Williams of Llangibby Castle, July 1945.
